James Cranage
James is a qualified Chartered Accountant who established the practice in 1990 before moving to Malvern in 2006.
His experience began in 1980 with Coopers and Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) where he gained valuable experience in dealing with large and middle size firms with tax, accounting and systems matters as well as developing strong relationships.

From Coopers & Lybrand Jim worked for another six years as a Manager with Thompson Douglas 1984 to 1987 (now Grant Thornton) & Evans Partners 1987 to 1990. These firms provided Jim with experience in dealing with a substantially wider base of clients ranging from:

- Investors
- Trades
This experience was very valuable as it was more hands on and at a more personal level. It involved working closely with clients, partnering them to achieve their financial aspirations and being accessible when needed.
Jim likes to develop relationships with clients that go beyond doing client tax returns and other compliance work, to being there when clients need assistance with managing and setting financial goals.
Jamie Didone
Jamie is a Certified Practising Account (CPA) with over 20 years’ experience in public accounting.
Jamie is a Senior Client Manager offering a wealth of tax knowledge and experience to clients in a professional and timely manner with great attention to detail and service.
Jamie completed a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at RMIT in 1991 and worked in various suburban public tax firms, some in honorary positions, in order to gain valuable tax knowledge and experience.
From 1996 to 2000 Jamie worked for Spitzer & Fuerst. Jamie began to grow in his role as Accountant, learning the intricacies of small business, bookkeeping and tax preparation with exposure right across the board from individuals to companies and superannuation funds.
In July 2000 Jamie joined the team at Cranage Partners in a more senior and managerial role.

Christine Cranage
Prior to joining Cranage Partners Christine gained valuable experience working as a payroll consultant.
Christine has over 20 years’ experience working in a Chartered Accountant Office looking after client needs. She has a warm and welcoming personality, this combined with her desire to meet client needs as soon and as efficiently as possible makes her a great asset to our firm.
Christine’s role in the firm is:
- The first point of contact for our clients
- Office and Client Manager
- To assist clients with general and administrative queries
- Direct clients to the appropriate professional for more complex tax and accounting issues
- Christine is also responsible for Corporate Administration Services, such as change of directors and company annual statements
