Cranage Partners have been located at 31 Station Street, Malvern since June 1996, servicing clients in the local and surrounding areas, other states and overseas. The firm was established in 1990 by its principal, Mr. James Cranage who had previously worked in large and medium sized accounting firms.
Jim realised that many smaller clients of larger accounting practices were not fully satisfied with frequent staff rotations and had the impression that their smaller account was used as a training ground for junior personnel. To address these concerns, he resolved to establish a practice consisting of experienced, stable personnel who would focus on smaller businesses and provide them with the same level of expert advice he had been providing to large corporations.
More than 20 years later, many of Jim’s original clients are still with Cranage Partners today.

Another strength is our focus on the client as much as the task at hand: when conducting an audit for example, we will volunteer ideas for business improvements as opportunities are identified. Similarly, our taxation work often comes with advice on business or systems improvements, financial or succession planning, or a mixture of these.
